돌출 귀(사진 18 참조)를 흔히 당나귀 귀라고 합니다.
상염색체로 유전되는 귀의 선천성 기형이다.
약 5% 백인종에게 돌출귀가 생긴다.
청력 장애가 돌출귀로 생기지 않지만 외형 때문에 본인이나 가족들은 정신적 심리적 부담감을 갖는다.
돌출귀가 있으면 미관상 문제가 있을 수 있고 또래들로부터 놀림감이 될 수 있다.
이런 기형을 가진 아이는 사회적으로 불안감을 갖는다.
불링(왕따), 학교 폭력, 사이버 불링(Cyber bullying), 악플 등을 당할 수 있다.
가능한 한 적절한 시기에 선택적 성형 교정수술 치료를 한다.
수술을 받은 후 대부분의 경우, 더 건전한 자부심을 갖는다.
덜 불링(왕따)받고 덜 놀림 받고 사회적 불안감도 적어진다.

돌출 귀의 치료

신생아기에 수술로 치료하지 않고 약 6개월 동안 돌출귀 치료 몰딩으로 치료 한다.
일반적으로 성형외과에서 성혈 수술로 치료 한다.
여러 종류의 성형 수술로 치료한다.
성형 수술 후 감염, 혈종, 돌출 귀 재발이 생길 수 있다.

• Protruding ears (see photo 18) are commonly referred to as donkey ears.

• It is a congenital malformation of the ear that is inherited as an autosomal.

• About 5% of Caucasians develop protruding ears.

• Hearing impairment is not caused by protruding ears, but the person or family members feel a mental and psychological burden because of the appearance.

• Having protruding ears can be aesthetically problematic and can cause teasing by peers. • Children with these deformities are socially insecure.

• You may be subjected to bullying, school violence, cyberbullying, and malicious comments.

• Perform elective orthodontic treatment in a timely manner whenever possible.

• After surgery, in most cases, you have healthier self-esteem.

• Less bullying, less teasing, and less social anxiety. treatment of protruding ears

• Treat with protruding ear treatment molding for about 6 months without surgery during the neonatal period.

• It is usually treated with plastic surgery.

• Treated with several types of plastic surgery.

• Recurrence of infection, hematoma, and protruding ears may occur after plastic surgery.
